SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE TUBE

To determine the correct length:

Measure the longest rod section to be stored (they are not always the same) and add 1/4" to 3/8"

Recommended Diameters:

1 5/8"     2 piece rods, 2 piece bamboo rods with an extra tip, 3 piece rods with small diameter grips

2"     3 and 4 piece rods without fighting butts or with smallish fighting butts.  Stripping guides size 16 and smaller

​

2.5"     Multi-piece rods, Saltwater rods with large stripping guides and/or larger fighting butts, Spey and Switch rods
